Karissa Bussard is Chief Human Resources Officer of Coravel, where she leads global people and culture strategy to support rapid scale, operational excellence, and growth in next-generation data center capabilities.


A strategic, results-driven HR executive, Karissa brings more than 20 years of experience aligning talent strategy with business outcomes in complex, high-growth environments. She is a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards, and leadership teams, known for driving workforce transformation, strengthening leadership pipelines, and delivering measurable impact through data-driven, people-first leadership.


Previously, Karissa spent more than 15 years at General Electric and GE Aerospace, holding senior HR leadership roles across multiple functions. She played a key role in GE’s historic separation into three independent public companies, ensuring business continuity, preserving critical talent, and driving significant cost avoidance. She led global HR strategies for multi-billion-dollar businesses operating in over 150 countries.


Karissa also served as Vice President of HR and Global Organization and Talent Development Leader at Dematic, where she standardized global talent processes and implemented a comprehensive people strategy to improve productivity and reduce costs. She began her career at NBCUniversal and Korn Ferry, building expertise in leadership development and succession planning.


Karissa is known for leading transformation with rigor and accountability while building high-performing, inclusive cultures. She is an active supporter of pediatric cancer research and youth development initiatives.
